From cloth carrier to adhesive, we check specified items to ensure it can match your demands.
tape Sample applied
25mm width
with 2KG rubber roll, prepare sample on steel plate, when it applied, use a force test machine to test the tape pear force strength.
Adhesion to backing
1) applied 50mm width tape to steel plate;
2) applied test tape with 25mm width, to the aboved tape's backing;
3)test the adhesion to backing
Peel force test
to measure the adhesion force to steel and to backing.
Abrasion test
with 7KG loading weight, use 5mm / 10mm steel cudgel to load the tape, measure cycle times to define it's abrasion level.
Mass weight balance test
test the weight of sqm
Thermal aging test
keep the tape in this thermal box, make it aging, to test the peel adhesion's stability.
Cloudplast Brand story
Brand’s story (by Dans Zhang):
One day around 2013 Feb, when I stepped out from Shanghai office and try to getting a good brand name for the coming wire harness tape business. It is really not easy to take a good one, we tried to dig out one more, that day I take a nap after lunch in my parking car seat. When I come back and opened my eyes, the cloud float slowly above my head, the cloud’s shape looks just like a driving car, the most marvellous thing happens, the shape changed from a car to a roll of tape. Wow, I thought that’s it.
So Cloudplast comes out, and we start to call our tape & our team as “Cloudplast” from 2013. It’s really funny and interesting.
